Porcelain Small Carafe

Making this carafe style jug came from the idea keeping water on the table in a vessel.
The small size is suitable for milk or gravy.
The tall carafe is great for water or any soft drink to serve.
They are very good pour because I make the edge of the spout very sharp so it cuts the liquid well.

Edit’s hand-thrown porcelain tableware is made in her South London workshop at Thames Side Studio. She loves colours and this reflects on her work.
She has started with a couple of them first, since then she tries to widen the colour scale.

The shape and colour might differ slightly due to the pieces being made by hand.
All of the pieces are high-fired porcelain 1260C.
They are dishwasher and microwave-safe, although we suggest hand-washing as they are thinly thrown pieces.
