Handy Spelling’s ‘Pairs or Pears?’ card game is designed to make learning to spell fun. Information learned through play is much more likely to stick. So many words sound the same but are spelt differently and mean different things. Like ‘where’ and ‘wear’. ‘Sea’ and ‘see’. ‘One’ and ‘won’. The Handy character explains both the meaning and spelling of paired words visually. Which is especially helpful for dyslexic kids.
There are 25 pairs of words in each pack to play either Pairs or Snap. Pop them in your bag, take them on holiday or just play at home and help reinforce learning any time, any place, anywhere!
