Designer maker Rachel Rogers creates unique crochet and macramé homewares and accessories, but not as traditionally as you might expect. Made by hand in Brighton, Rachel uses recycled cotton ropes and up-cycled cotton yarn in an array of gorgeous colours to add a modern aesthetic to her products, and each of her pieces is made unique as a result of the processes used to create them.
Mindfulness and wellbeing play an important role in Rachel’s life and she finds the act of making her solace. Nothing brings her more joy than being able to pass on her knowledge through teaching crochet and macramé workshops, enabling others to learn new skills and enjoy the act of slow crafts.
